Running and walking have been a favorite activity for many people for many years. Of course this does not only have to be at a professional level, but can also be done as a hobby. It gives a feeling of freedom and ensures that you get 'in the flow' for a while. All you need to focus on is your performance. A treadmill is a handy solution to be able to perform your training at home. With this fitness device you can train the same as outside, but without bad weather conditions or an unsafe feeling in the dark.

1. DETERMINE YOUR GOAL

To be able to make a good choice from the different treadmills, it is wise that you first know what your goal is and how a treadmill can contribute to this. This is necessary in order to be able to better determine which speed and version are best for you. Do you want to lose weight, improve your condition or train intensively for a competition? Whatever your goal, keep the following factors in mind:

MAXIMUM SPEED AND TREAD SIZE

The lowest maximum speed of our treadmills is 6 km/h, the highest 24 km/h. Depending on your level, ambition and goal, you can choose a treadmill that supports this and offers you the opportunity to improve it. The higher the maximum running speed, the larger the tread.

MAXIMUM USER WEIGHT

Another important aspect is your body weight. Our treadmills are suitable for a maximum user weight of 120, 130, 150, 160, 180 or 200 kilos.

COMPUTER TYPE AND SPECIFICATIONS

Based on your goal, it is important to look at the different types of computers. They are all very user-friendly and have varied training programs. For example, one treadmill measures your heart rate with the sensors in the handrail, while the other model works via a bluetooth heart rate receiver. This way you can easily train with guidance and you don’t have to think about the content of your training yourself, because the training program helps you. A number of models can therefore be linked to your smartphone or tablet to keep track of your statistics or to view and listen to training apps via the speakers.

2. DETERMINE YOUR TREADMILL BUDGET

How much should a treadmill cost? The more specifications, the more expensive the treadmill is. Because we want to offer affordable home fitness equipment, we have treadmills from €699 to €2,999 and all prices in between. This way we know for sure that there is also a suitable model for you.
