General Mission:

The Swimming program strives to provide a learning environment, which encourages fitness, lifetime wellness, and personal growth.  It is our hope that all participants have the opportunity to develop aquatic skills, which can then be applied in a meaningful way in their lives.

Practice Times and Location:

Tuesdays & Thursdays:  7:30-8:30 AM at Monroe Community College

This program is designed to accommodate adults of all levels and experience. Training sessions will be focused on learning, improving comfort levels, improving stroke technique, and increasing fitness.  The coaches will use a combination of drills and practice sets to help participants build confidence and endurance.  It is hoped that within the structure of this group, participants will not only be better prepared to use swimming as a wellness strategy but also improve competitive performance.
