FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
***FAQ - I want to participate, but can only do one or two portions of the race such as the swim and/or bike and/or run.  Is there any way I can do just the portion I am able to?

Yes, but you will have to participate on a relay team.  WE ARE LOOKING TO PAIR PEOPLE UP IN YOUR SITUATION.  Currently, we have people who are in the same situation and we would like to help put you together.  Please "CONTACT US" to send us an e-mail with your name, contact information and which leg(s) of the race you are interested in doing so we can find you partners.

***FAQ - How can I volunteer for the event?

We are always looking for help.  If you are interested in volunteering, please click here.  This link will direct you to a volunteer registration sheet.  All volunteers will receive food and race shirts.  You can fax the completed form back to 760-6611 or bring it with you race day.

***FAQ - I am worried that my registration will not make it in time by mail; can I still register on Saturday, July 30th?

Yes, you can still register for the event on Saturday.  In order to speed up the process, you can go to the "CONTACT US" page and e-mail us the information from your registration so we can pre-register you.  Just bring the filled out registration form with you on Saturday, July 30th between 1 PM and 5 PM.

***FAQ - Do I need to come on Saturday?

Yes, in order to ensure that everyone has signed a one day license waiver and paid the fee, you are required to attend on Saturday.  However, accommodations can be made for extenuating circumstances.  Please call or e-mail us in advance to inform us.  This is only for limited circumstances - we do not want to have to hand out too many race packets race morning.

***FAQ - When are the race orientations and what do they entail?

The race orientations will take place at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.  During the orientation, we will explain the race details, go over the course maps and answer any questions.

***FAQ - What time should I show up on Sunday morning?

The transition area and pool will be open by 6 AM Sunday morning so you can set up your transition area and warm-up.  You will also need to be body marked and pick up your timing chip.  So, please leave yourself adequate time before the 7:30 AM start.

***FAQ - Where do I park for the registration on Saturday and race on Sunday?

Parking for both registration and the race is available in the lots adjacent to the MCC Pool and Gymnasium building.  This is located in the back of the MCC campus opposite East Henrietta Road.  As you drive around the campus service road, you will either pass a pond (on your right) or the ESL Sports Complex, tennis courts and playing fields (on your left) depending on which direction you are heading.  The race set-up and parking will be in the lots just past either the pond or the tennis courts.  Please refer to the course map for assistance.

Feel free to e-mail with any additional questions.

Stay tuned for more updates!!!

This unique swim, bike and run event is a great goal for anyone but is geared for those 50 and over who want to get in shape and stay in shape.  The course is safe, easy and fun for both beginner and experienced athletes.

You can participate as an individual or as part of a relay team.  The event begins with a 300 yard pool swim, continues with a 20k (12.4 mile) bike ride and ends with a 5k (3.1 mile) run or walk.  This will be a fun, non-intimidating race amongst your peers which you can complete at your own pace.  Course Map

For those who wish to be part of the event, but not compete, we are looking for volunteers - if interested, please click here.  Call (585) 503-3749 with any questions.  You can fax the volunteer registration form to (585) 760-6611.

Make this day a celebration to a lifetime of health and fitness.  Friends and family will be able to follow all the action as the athletes complete multiple laps on the looped course.  The festivities continue after the race with refreshments and conclude with an awards ceremony and raffle.
