General Mission:

The Swimming program strives to provide a learning environment, which encourages fitness, lifetime wellness, and personal growth.  It is our hope that all participants have the opportunity to develop aquatic skills, which can then be applied in a meaningful way in their lives.

Fitness swimmers:

This might include adults who have a wide range of recreation swimming experience. You should be familiar and comfortable in the water.  Training sessions will be focused on learning, improving strokes, improving comfort levels, and increasing training loads.  The coaches will use a combination of drill & practice sessions with short workouts to help participants build confidence and fitness.  It is hoped that within the structure of this group, participants will be better prepared to use swimming as a wellness strategy.
